Requirements:
Motorcycle & Travel Requirement
The Driver/Messenger must possess a privately owned motorcycle and hold a valid motorcycle driving licence to facilitate administrative travel, deliveries, banking errands, and other work-related duties. A travel allowance will be provided to cover the associated transportation costs.
Job Description:
1. Driving & Transportation
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport employees, documents, equipment, parcels, and other items as authorized.
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of documents and packages to customers, suppliers, banks, government offices, and other locations.
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely completion of assigned duties.
- Maintain confidentiality of documents, parcels, and information handled during deliveries.
- Report any vehicle accidents, incidents, traffic violations, or mechanical problems immediately to management.
2. Messenger & Administrative Duties
- Collect and deliver documents, invoices, cheques, letters, parcels, and other correspondence.
- Assist with banking errands, postal services, government offices, suppliers, and customer-related deliveries.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery where required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and completed errands.
- Assist basic administrative tasks when required.
- Assist in the movement or delivery of IT equipment, office supplies, and other company assets.
3. Vehicle Maintenance
- Conduct basic daily checks of the assigned vehicle, including fuel, tyres, lights, oil, coolant, and general condition.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
- Ensure the vehicle is serviced and maintained according to the manufacturer’s recommended schedule.
- Report maintenance requirements or defects promptly.
- Maintain records relating to fuel, mileage, servicing, and repairs.
- Ensure all required vehicle documents and licences are valid and available.
4. General Support
- Provide assistance to the contracting team as required.
- Support company activities, events, deliveries, and logistics.
- Handle company property and documents responsibly.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers, suppliers, and external organizations.
