Responsibilities:
- Good technical understanding of Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Support for in-house business applications, cloud, and network infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft-related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Office365, Intune.
- Experience with virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
- Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications.
- Conducting system assessments, security audits, antivirus audits, and new client consultations.
- Setting up and maintaining monitoring systems, like PRTG, for customer services.
- Collaborating with the Sales Team to engineer projects, identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing clients.
- Documenting and maintaining records of all computer systems, IP addresses, configuration summaries, and tracking alterations.
- Communicating with customers about best practices and securing systems from viruses, malware, and ransomware.
- Providing guidance and coaching to other engineers.
- Collaborating with the Department Manager to maintain a positive work environment and resolve conflicts within the system team.
- Knowledge of backup technologies: Veeam, Nutanix, Commvault.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Certifications in Microsoft and VMware.
